Let’s just say if you are looking for a great rental experience look no further. I was extremely pleased with the rental and all the equipment provided. The trailer was fully stocked with dishes and utensils, bedding and towels. It even had plenty of camping chairs , table and grill. Brian was pretty amazing from help with hooking up and going over how everything worked and what to expect with use on the trip. He even provided ideas of where to go! He was also available throughout my trip with answers to questions I had while traveling. After retuning Brian went over the condition of the trailer and quickly refunded my deposit. Even returned items to me I forgot to take out. I’ll definitely be back to rent again in the future!!!

Travel Trailer Rental FAQ’s

How much does it cost to rent a travel trailer in Phoenix?

The cost to rent a travel trailer can vary depending on factors such as location, duration of the rental, type of trailer, and the time of year. On average, you can expect to pay anywhere from $140 to $250 per night to rent a travel trailer. You’ll also need to provide a security deposit. We require $1,000 security deposit which is fully refundable as long as the trailer comes back undamaged and clean.

It’s always best to research and compare prices from different rental companies and read the rental agreement carefully to understand all the costs and requirements before making a reservation.

While some rentals may seem like a better deal, Travel Happy RV’s prices are very competitive as we don’t tack on any additional hidden fees like cleaning fees, dump fees, etc. Our travel trailer rentals also come fully stocked with sheets, towels, cutlery, cups, plates, toaster, etc. without charging extra.

What kind of vehicle do I need to tow a travel trailer rental?

The type of vehicle you need to tow a travel trailer rental depends on the size and weight of the trailer. Generally, a truck or SUV with a towing capacity that matches or exceeds the weight of the trailer is required. It’s important to note that towing capacity is different from payload capacity, which is the amount of weight that the vehicle can carry inside.

Most travel trailer rental companies will provide the weight of the trailer, which includes the weight of the trailer itself as well as any cargo or water that may be inside. The towing capacity of your vehicle can typically be found in the owner’s manual or by contacting the manufacturer. It’s important to make sure that the vehicle and trailer are properly matched and that you have the appropriate hitch and towing equipment installed.

Travel Happy RV will provide the equipment needed to safely tow the travel trailer rental. Our travel trailer only needs a half ton truck or towing vehicle to pull it, making it a great rental option.

Below are some examples of half ton trucks and SUV’s. If you’re renting a travel trailer from us, we will ask you what kind of tow vehicle you have to ensure it’s capable of towing the trailer.

Half ton tow vehicle examples:
Ford F-150, Nissan Titan, Toyota Tundra, Ram 1500, Ford Expedition, Dodge Durango, Land Rover Discovery
